The Task At Hand

After leaving Trend Micro I was contracted as a freelancer to co-work with the product's UI designer on polishing and finalizing Backup and Restore's interaction and design. Together, we refined the flows, experiences, and created new design patterns in addition to the existing library.

Refreshing color scheme along with unique icons would set the tone for Trend Micro mobile apps from here on.

Final Design

The resulting design is a beautiful Android App that is pleasant to use without the normal "techy feel" of a security app. Colorful and animated UI made the Backup and Restore app professional, secure, and easy to use. Backup isn't just for the techy-professionals, it's for everyone.
